Our Story
23 February 2019
The group was originally
established as “Veterans of the Saints Community Foundation.”This marked the creation of a dedicated veterans’ community linked to the Saints Community Foundation, aimed at bringing together Armed Forces veterans for support, camaraderie, and community engagement.
24 April 2019
The organisation changed its name to “Veterans of the Foundation – St Helens Armed Forces Veteran’s Breakfast Club.”This amendment formalised the breakfast club identity, placing greater emphasis on regular veteran meet-ups, peer support, and social engagement within the St Helens Armed Forces community.
21 October 2024
The name was changed back to “Veterans of the Saints Community Foundation.”This reflected a broader organisational identity beyond solely the breakfast club format, encompassing wider veteran support and community activities under the Foundation banner.
25 February 2026
The organisation was renamed “Veterans of the Saints Community Foundation Breakfast Club.”This reintroduced the breakfast club branding while maintaining its direct connection with the Saints Community Foundation and reinforcing its social and wellbeing focus.
21st May 2026
Following a unanimous vote by members, the veterans formally agreed to transition away from the Saints Community Foundation and become part of No Duff UK CIC.
The group was subsequently renamed:
No Duff UK St. Helens Veterans All Arms and All Services Breakfast Club
The decision reflected the members’ collective ambition to develop a broader, more inclusive veterans and community support network encompassing:
